Troock score late to give Team Orr win

Congrats Branden for your great showing in the Prospects Game! Branden has shown great persistence and determination coming back from a year and half neck injury! Great Story!

Seattle Thunderbirds forward Branden Troock lifted Team Orr to a 2-1 victory against Team Cherry at the 2012 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game Wednesday night.

With the game tied 1-1 late in the third period, Troock sealed the victory after scoring the go-ahead goal with 24 seconds left in regulation.

Troock's heroics earned him player of the game honours for Team Orr. Soo Greyhounds goaltender Matt Murray was the top player for Team Cherry after making 17 saves in just under 30 minutes of ice time.
